Baby Strollers

I'm interested in hosting a Stroller Drive!

We are so grateful that you are interested in helping refugee families. If you would like to host a Stroller Drive with your school, religious organization or community group please reach out! We will provide the next steps and will link you with one of our partner non-profits serving new to Canada refugee families.  You will need a Stroller Drive leader (student or parent),promotion ideas, a central drop off place for donations and volunteer drivers to drop off the strollers. The best time to host a drive is in the fall or spring! We can't wait to hear from you.

Do you take other baby gear?

We get this question a lot! Unfortunately, we do not take other baby supplies. We focus only on infant and toddler strollers. In the past we have collected baby clothes, car seats, toys and equipment but this large scope is a challenge to manage. These items are also readily available through other charities. By focusing on a high ticket item such as a stroller, we are able to streamline our efforts and make an impact.

How does a Stroller help?

Refugee families arrive in Canada often fleeing very difficult circumstances such as war in their home country or persecution. Families typically arrive in large Canadian cities where they are assisted by Immigrant Settlement Organizations who provide temporary housing. Typically families arrive with only a few bags and minimal equipment for their children.  We partner with organizations who help refugees and provide much needed strollers to help families get around more easily.
